Mirella's first steps on the snow was at 4 years old with her family in Las Leñas (Argentina). She recalls feeling always cold and somehow afraid to let the skis go in the very beginning. But with her older brother and cousin skiing fast and fearlessly all over the snowy mountains, she had to gain confidence not to stand alone or behind and soon she was following them with a huge smile on her face. It all became fun, the cold just a small detail, and she quickly got to enjoy skiing with her family every single season since then. Skiing became not only her passion, but also her profession as an Olympic athlete and sports professional (Bachelor in Business Administration with a Masters degree in Sports Management, Humanities and Law), to which she has dedicated great part of her life and career.

Much more important than her background, it is certainly her passion, her patience and her enormous desire to share her knowledge, experience and learnings with others, helping them to explore and develop their skills, vocations and potential and also to inspire and motivate them to learn, to improve, to overcome themselves and to perform at their personal best. "Teaching is for sure not “only” teaching, but at the same time learning; a beautiful exchange and connection between people that I love to experience and is actually what fascinates me about sport" – Mirella Arnhold
