St. Anton am Arlberg, located in the Tyrolean region of Austria, is one of the world's top skiing resorts. Not only the first ski school and one of the largest ski clubs worldwide were founded here in the early 1900s’, but also it is the largest ski area in the country and is now among the five largest in the world.

It was in St. Anton that the “telemark technique” was developed into the “Arlberg technique of downhill skiing”, by the pioneer Hannes Schneider, which is basically the style of skiing known by every skier nowadays. It is not for any reason that the Arlberg is called the "cradle of Alpine skiing", once since then the technique was taken and taught everywhere else in the world, helping to develop the sport of skiing worldwide. With 88 state-of-the-art cable cars and lifts over 305 kilometres of marked ski runs, superbly prepared slopes for all ability levels, 200 km of off-piste and challenging steep slopes and deep-snow ski runs, snowboard fun parks, carving areas and permanent racing circuits, St. Anton is a truly unique recreation paradise for the whole family. The train station is located at the village center and there are free shuttle buses from and to the main Gondolas/lifts running regularly throughout the day. St. Anton is easily reached by plane, train, car or bus from:
